Snorkeling in Cabo San Lucas is one of the finest water adventures in this planet. Having a sight of this underwater ecosystem which is full of lively aquatic life and amazing coral reefs is quite a spectacle that you shouldn't miss.

The world famous marine biologist, Sir Jacques Cousteau, finds this place amazing and so will you.

Here are 3 of the best snorkeling sites you may want to visit in Cabo.

The Corridor – This spot is found between San Jose del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas. There are a number of spots in this vicinity that are ideal for snorkeling.

The Sta. Maria Cove is one of them. It has around 20 to 60 feet and you can find slimy eels, octopus and a great numbers of very colorful tropical fishes. Marine life in this area is also very visible because of its clear blue waters.

Cabo Pulmo – Cabo Pulmo is said to be the best area in Cabo where you can dive and snorkel. This place shows the living coral reefs of the Sea of Cortez and schools of colorful fishes, dolphins, hammerheads and even whale sharks. The place also offers very good visibility underwater and warm water temperatures.

Lover's Beach – This beach is a secluded one and can be reached by water taxis for hire. Aside from being the lover's beach because of its romantic atmosphere, the place is also a good snorkeling site. The water in this site is temperate, which makes it more inviting for snorkeling and diving or for just soaking in the clear waters.

Even though it's called Lover's Beach, this is also perfect for families. In winter months, the group of sea lions often appears and strut their stuff to the delight of the island visitors. They are usually seen on the big rocks that are scattered in the waters.

There are still so many good spots for snorkeling in Cabo San Lucas, you'll just have to explore the island to get the chance to see all of it.

It is said that there are still hidden surfing sites in Cabo. But there are actually a number of good surfing sites that are usual hangouts of surfing enthusiasts. Here are some of them.

1. Cerritos – Cerritos is one of the best beaches in Cabo ideal for surfing. The waves in Cerrito is said to be ideal for experienced surfers and friendly as well to those who are just starting to learn to surf. The beach is also considered one of the untouched beaches in Cabo.

The waves break above a rocky reef and that is what makes it a bit dangerous for novice surfers. Onlookers usually assemble on the beach to watch the exciting actions in the water.

3. Acapulquito – Acapulquito is the best surfing site for beginners and those who are first-timers in surfing. The only downside in this area is that the place can be a little too crowded especially during weekends.

4. Roca Loca – this is the place for expert surfers, the waves here usually get higher and bigger, between 3 and 6 feet and then break to the right side.

If you want to learn surfing in Cabo San Lucas, you surely have several beach options to choose from. The mild swells on selected beaches in Cabo are a great spot for learning to surf. Furthermore, many surf shops and hotels do offer surfing lessons for their guests.

Indeed, having a vacation in Cabo means getting your feet wet on the many water sports in the place. If you are not the sporty type, you can also sit by the beach and watch those surfers glide their way out of those waves.

Cabo water sports include snorkeling and diving. Incredible underwater adventures await Cabo water sports enthusiasts or plain tourists who are looking for fun. They will surely admire the many species of vertebrates and invertebrates that can be found in the earth's youngest sea, the Sea of Cortez.

The waters near the Pelican Rock often are favorite dive sites for most tourists and divers. The splendid view of this rock overlooking the sea and the sandfalls always amaze visitors of the place. Dive excursions are also available in Cabo for tourists who want to explore the many dive sites in Cabo.

Private trips for your group can be planned, depending on where you desire to snorkel or dive. You can adore the sites of eels, guitarfish and colorful schools of reef fish and rays. Divers and snorkelers will definitely enjoy an excellent day trip to Cabo Pulmo Marine Park.

Surfers would not be disappointed in Cabo's waters. Different waves in different heights are found in Cabo, thus surfers would definitely appreciate the inviting waters of Cabo. Surfers from around the world even come to Cabo to experience the great waves. Celebrities and Hollywood stars are also among those who ride the waves in this beach paradise.

While waiting for the waves, tourists get to meet different people and share experiences with them. The same experiences about the board, the waves and the sensation derived from surfing. The sea does not recognize whoever you are, or of what nationality. Los Cabos waters invite you to feel free and enjoy the water sports in Cabo San Lucas.
