Hearty Foods For RV, Motorhome And Fifth Wheel Travel
Hunting season is here. Nights are getting cold and frost is covering the ground in the morning and wildlife is fattening up for hibernation. At night, it's getting close to freezing, so for hikers, hunters and adventurers, having a warm meal at night is a huge incentive to go a little further down the trail, or stay out a little longer. When you return to your RV, Motorhome or Fifth Wheel Trailer and there's hot chili waiting or ready to be cooked, consider it a reward for the hard day you've put in. One thought is to cook a big batch of chili at the beginning of the trip so all you have to do is warm it up at night.
Regardless of where and how you camp, whether you're in a pop-up camper, or a luxurious Class A Motorhome, a good bowl of chili is a good bowl of chili. The following recipes were chosen because they are easy to make and taste delicious. If you were lucky on the hunt, substitute some fresh game for beef or chicken.
