The Lover's Beach

The Lover's Beach, or Playa del Amor, is one of the famous beaches in Cabo. Even though the beach is quite isolated from the rest, it is still one of the beaches most visited by tourists. Going there may be through boats and water taxis that you can hire at the marina. The beach is famous for its panoramic view, as there are huge rock formations that partially cover the beach.

The beach also has clear waters best for snorkeling and swimming, but there are certain parts of the beach where these activities are not recommended because of the huge waves that may come splashing to the rocks on the shore. There are however tour guides that will be providing information about where to swim safely or snorkel in the Lover's Beach.

Santa Maria Beach (Playa Santa Maria)

Playa Santa Maria or the Santa Maria Beach is also another popular beach in Cabo San Lucas. It is also considered as one of the most photographed places in Cabo. This horseshoe-shaped beach is also known for its pinkish sands. Marine life in this beach is also ideal for snorkeling and this is actually one of the popular activities in the place.

Palmilla Beach or Playa Palmilla

The Palmilla Beach is known in Cabo as one with a luxurious beachfront. It is also the beach fronting the luxurious Palmilla Hotel which is one of the favorites also of tourists. The beach is protected cove so it is a great place for snorkeling and other beach activities.

Playa El Medano

Playa El Medano is one of the busiest beaches in Cabo San Lucas. It is ideal for swimming thus tourists flock to this great beach. Unlike the Lover's Beach which does not have a single establishment, Playa El Medano has many hotels, resorts, bars, restaurants and shops that provide equipment rentals to beach lovers.

In Playa El Medano, you can find various shops for water activities like parasailing, kayaking, boating, jet skiing and many other activities you can enjoy in the beach. The beach also has great nightlife and parties.
