To enjoy hiking in the desert, it is best to do the activity during the cold seasons. Although, hiking during summer can also be done usually in the mornings to avoid uncomfortable temperatures. There are experienced hikers that trek the deserts so you may want to join the group for a more fun adventure. You can also choose to have tour guides or join a guided hiking trip from the many companies that offer the service.
The vegetation in the area as well as the spectacular rock formations are just among the many things you will encounter and appreciate when you hike in the deserts of Cabo. You can also observe and explore the native wildlife of the place. It is advisable however, to put on your long pants and leather boots as you may never know if you can encounter jack rabbits or snakes along the way.
The mountains of La Laguna and the fossil fields in the Cape region are also among the sites you should not miss visiting if you will do hiking in Cabo.
